Runnage Farm is a traditional moorland farm of approximately 220 acres owned by the Duchy of Cornwall. It has a rich past dating back to 1304/05 when it was first recorded as an ancient tenement of the Forest of Dartmoor. The Coaker Family has lived and worked on this farm since 1843.

Like all high moorland farms in this area of Dartmoor, Runnage concentrates on livestock production, in particular cattle and sheep. In addition to this we also own 30 traditional Dartmoor ponies on the open moor.

Like many farmers these days we have diversified and alongside our traditional farming, we have camping barns and camping fields; we have cycle hire and we sell our own beef and lamb.
